What: Transportation Camp Ithaca 2019
When: Saturday, April 6, 2019, 8:30-4:30 (doors & breakfast open at 8 am)
Where: Klarman Hall, Cornell University, 232 East Avenue, Ithaca, NY.
Parking: Address for your GPS: 306 Tower Road, Ithaca, NY (Bradfield Hall), use the parking lot across the road (Tower Road) from the address. Look for TransportationCamp parking signs.
Food: $15 Fee includes breakfast and lunch.
TransportationCamp is an “unconference”. It is a meeting of peers presenting/discussing topics that interest them. At Camp, you explore a large marketplace of ideas, with a focus on transforming mobility services in rural, small urban, regional and large urban areas.
· To focus on to rural and urban mobility challenges, solutions and strategies.
· To explore how technologies and better practices can increase peoples’ mobility choices and community livability.
· To increase networking among professionals, advocates and citizens.

How does Camp work? Breakfast starts at 8 am. Attendees propose sessions which are curated and posted on a large grid on a wall. The program schedule will include five, one-hour periods of up to ten concurrent sessions. Sessions are held in classrooms with full Internet, A/V capabilities. Lunch is provided. We will hold a wrap-up session at 4 pm.
Attendees include people with interests and experience in shared-use mobility, mobility management, rural mobility, public transit, access to healthcare, metropolitan transportation planning, social services, public policy, mobility for seniors, regional services, demand-response services, mobility-as-a-service, community & economic development, volunteer driver services, housing & transportation, community mobility education, social equity, environmental sustainability, county planning, new mobility tech services and business models and more.
Please register by April 3rd, to assist us to finalize the food logistics.
