2010 JARC Awards - Status
June 15, 2010: Tompkins County Legislature passes above resolution reallocating 2006 JARC grant NY-37-X053.
In May and June the ITCTC and Tompkins County have worked to finalize the award of JARC funds for projects selected by the ITCTC proposal process conducted from January to April 2010.
In April 2010, the ITCTC Planning Committee affirmed the 2010-2011 Project Priorities for JARC, New Freedom and Sec 5310 programs which were a product of the proposal process.
In May 2010, County DSS gave a presentation to the County Health and Human Services Committee about the Coordinated Plan Process and the 2010-11 priorities. The County determined it needed approval from the County Legislature to award $165,000 in JARC funds from a 2006 JARC grant (NY-37-X053) based on the Coordinated Plan's priorities. On June 9, 2010, DSS presented the resolution to the HHS Committee, which voted to recommend it to the legislature for approval on Tuesday, June 15.
The implementation plan is as follows:
All agencies are being notified of the impending award.
All agencies are asked to provide a brief status report and milestones for the project to be submitted at the June 22 Coordinated Plan Meeting.
A brief concise agreement with the County is being written to award funds to each agency.
